Windows 7 on a Lenovo s10e

I won't go into why it's been so long since I've posted to this blog but I'm pledging to start posting more frequently to it from now on. Now onto the subject of the post, Windows 7 on a Lenovo s10e.

I recently purchased this wonderful netbook from buy.com at a great price ($300 shipped) and was disappointed with having to use Windows XP on a brand new machine so I formatted the drive and installed the Windows 7 beta from a flash drive on it.

I was surprised at how quickly Windows 7 installed from my 4gb Flash Voyager and how easy it all was to setup. Sure, I had to go to www.s10lenovo.com for some help with some drivers and such, but overall getting Windows 7 up and running wasn't a very difficult process.

I'd recommend the Windows 7 beta to any netbook user out there as it will most likely run just as fast at the XP installation that originally came on it and without any hiccups really. I haven't experienced any crashing or abnormal behavior with Windows 7 and I can't report it acting any differently than XP did when it was on my s10e.

Here is a short video review of my Lenovo s10e running Windows 7 that I posted on youtube to share with others.
